No idea, don't have Foxtel. I watch the skiing via a stream of Austrian TV. Wonder if they will be covering the World Championships from St Moritz (Feb 7-19)?
they don't appear to cover everything
my impression was that they had less coverage of the women's events but this weekend's women's races at Zauchensee are getting several slots
Biathlon also gets a decent bit of coverage , also some Nordic Combined , Ski Cross , Snot .er sorry....Snowboard , Jumping , Freestyle and Luge events get some coverage. Maybe its just a busy week or so and they cant cover everything on the 1 generic Eurosport channel we get. It will be interesting to see if its just a glitch or a continuing thing. If it is a continuing thing then I will be damn pissed off , rarely miss an Alpine , mens or womens , event covered even if I have to record it for later viewing.
Having said that , I don't mind Biathlon and Nordic events so still will be late nights again this weekend.
I was in Munich last week and am in Sankt Johann im Pongau this week
there's only one Eurosport channel here
Hey if you are in Austria you are better off watching on ORF1 anyway.
I'm mostly skiing
per my comment on the other thread I'll be watching it in situ at Zauchensee on Sunday, all going well
or head into one of the mountain huts when race is on and watch on the big screen.
Was at that race
12 months ago. Great day, pretty laid back compared to Kitz
Fox are advertising the Downhill at Kitz for next weekend
World Champs don't appear to be on Foxtel - is this correct?
popup blocker handy
I pointed this out in the other thread but no one had an alternative
there's an app to feed the results but that's all
This appears OK: http://cricfree.sc/euro-sports-1-live-stream
Got it on my TV via my Chromecast pretty well.
I'm not sure what the point of having Foxtel is anymore. Supposed to be geared for sport. The sports I do want to watch, they won't pay for. Only so much bloody football one can watch.
Yeah I signed up for Foxtel Play last summer to watch the skiing, no point if they're not showing the bloody world champs!!
Some peeps are taking matters into their own hands.
This is where the individual sports need to take control of their streaming rights. I'd gladly pay FIS a fee to have an HD live stream. Paying half a dozen sports leagues direct would beat the shit out of a Pay TV subscription full of shit I will never watch.
New F1 owners know this is a priority, wonder what it's going to look like.
Well you say that, but in the case of the mob I linked above they have a yearly, monthly and even a daily subscription price. But here's the kicker, the daily sub doesn't allow the live feed.
