I haven't actually had a chance to write a TR, but here's the clip
Love the ending. Looking good on the teles.
Sweet, can't wait till I can be out there with my daughter. Was the Dibbins Hut?
Best vid in ages TOP STUFF Boods
How proud are you of your daughter ??? skiing with the big pack on TOPS.
Fantastic Your daughter is real cutie
Dibbins. Was plan B as wind was too ferocious for either a tent or fire Thursday night.
Very jealous. Will hope and try to instill a love of the outdoors and adventure in my toddler so that in a few years time she's on ski's then out the side country
She did great. Was a huge day Sat. I'm stoked b/c as my mates start to get too old/fat/disengaged for this kind of stuff, her enthusiasm is boundless.
I thought the title was great, and then i watched it. Just magical, so jealous.
Really lovely edit @Boodwah.
What does the boodette use as bindings? My youngest is keen to come out next season.
Best video compilation yet. Awesome job!
@Boodwah BC Father of the Year.

Spectacular big boy.
We will have to do a combined dads and daughters trip.
What next...Hunt for white November ?
Fantastic vid. There aren't many better things than skiing with your own kids.
Just watched it again...it's really inspirational.
I got some cheap & light Dynastar touring skis off the web when they were on sale when she was 8. I originally mounted them with Silvretta Pure Kidz touring bindings (which you'd be welcome to), but when she had feet big enough for tech-boots I mounted the cheapest tech touring bindings(Dynafit) I could find on them. Now she's grown out of her tech touring boots and wants to tele (smart girl, she can see its more free and more fun), so she's just using the baseplate under the toe with tech that came with the Scarpas until her birthday when I'll try and work out which tele bindings are best for a kid. She's not getting Meidjos.
That was magical. I have always wanted to try some BC, and that may just tip me over the edge for next season.
I reckon a father and daughters weekend calls, @Snow Blowey and the blowette , @Swede and little swede and these two.... I need a couple more years to get Ms nearly 6 in the groove.
That was just an amazing video @Boodwah
That was one of the best weekends this year and you made great use of it.
I got my two boys into the BC at 6 and they nag me to get out there
Start them early if they are already in the outdoor environment a lot (and skiing well)
Mr 8 will be fine, Ms nearly 6 is okay with other kids. PITA with just the family.
super cool, have you tried introducing her to a splitboard?
She's a skier.
come across to the dark side
nice video Boodwah and Team Bears likes the wood stove at Derricks Hut we presume...
very nice turns...
Derricks not Dibbins as I said above. Handy little stove, plenty of fuel about. Good for drying out kids.
That chimney in Derricks howls when it really windy.
I was at work when I played this. So much better than the silent version.
Been trying to get my eldest out there all season but have't made it yet. However hope to change that before the hunt for drift December.
How old? At this rate, we will being skiing in December
17yo & Boods daughter is skiing better.
oh the old stove(a flattish weird thing has gone)....The Nectres r good value....and set up in middle that has to be so effective..NSW eat your hearts out!!!
and their hot enough to cook on.....with a kettle u can keep water boiling and have many cups of tea...
but apart from creature comforts....the video is pleasing and also informing too...splendid piece of work Boodwah...must be good lying flat on back on the benches after one of your long days with daughter on the slopes...
the user group is doing good job out there ..maybe next year we may check out Dibbins prior to winter too...
We're lucky with our huts in Vic. Whilst I had a tent and planned on camping, I don't think I'd bother next spring. We saw two other people all weekend - a couple of bushwalkers heading to Dibbins. Amazing that nobody was skiing on the best corn day of the season!
Took more film than photes this time, but the snow-gums around Derricks are beautiful.
Great video @Boodwah Pardon my ignorance but as I'm still relatively new here compared to many others I did not realize that you did the original Hunt for White October video (love it too by the way). The yellow jacket and tele skis gave it away.
2:58 mins. super epic.
Thanks. 1st Hunt was on Alpine Tour rig. I only took up télé last year.
@Boodwah as a father with a daughter I completely understand what that video is about.
Special special times that will never be forgotten.
You're getting all sentimental. She's just a leave pass to me. No more
Skiing is my religion. It was a vertical transmission from my folks, and a massive improvement on some of the other bizarre weirdo stuff out there. I am grateful, as I imagine she will be some day. Skiing is such a great family activity!
you play that video at her 21st and/or wedding and I guarantee there won't be a dry eye in the room.
Use her while you can. Couple more years and she won't want to know about you
That's when you start booking weeks in La Grave
