Sam usually always jumps + when a high is passing in the GAB dont,
read to much into it atm.

I reckon you are right with the persistent high to the South, causing those easterly winds over Vic and South NSW.

So you think it will go back to negative? GEFS says weak negative and POAMA says nope.

Gonna get interesting. Looks like that squall line is going to pummel the Upper BM's for some time. More incoming from the NE as well so the Lower BM's shouldn't miss out either. The Grose and Glenbrook Gorge should be pumping later this week.

It feels cold when you've spent the last 10 weeks working outdoors in 35+ temperatures. If we had 17 in early spring i'd be in shorts and T-shirt.

17 was about 19 degrees below the average maximum for the past two months here. So relatively chilly.

Pretty clear day in Tumba , normal temps , near nil wind , zero precip , slightly humid and a few clouds rolling by. Typical March weather tbh , very dull and boring.

How does it vent SB ?
Thru a roof cowl , or out the window (make a filler with the flue in it?)

Indian summer is rolling on in Vic and Tas. At this rate March 2017 will be warmer than December, January, or February.

No end in sight, even after equinox...

I think i ill either make a fibro window filler with a hole in it or i could use the high temperature silcon flap that i use to pop it out of the side of the tent. Just trying to think of a safety air drain to prevent gas poisoning. Possibly as simple as drilling a hole through the floor or leaving the back door ajar.

The lack of rain is frustrating me. Sun is out in Sydney. I cancelled some plans because of the rain, turns out I could have gone anyway.

WTF. We got hammered overnight in the northwest. A constant line of thunder storms coming from the northeast. Probably around 50 mm. And it's still coming down now.

Barely wet the ground on the northern beaches, much disappointment. The lines of showers are affecting narrow bands for long periods rather than wider areas for short periods.

I dunno. 'What could possibly go wrong etc?'. Fire in the tent I get, having consumed hours on related youtube/Alaska hot tent stuff, but stove/fire in a van?... not sure I would get that past the War Department.
