I rode that area last year and it was good fun. Definitely potential for danger and the warning signs were unequivocal.

Nice, great start once at the top at les grandes montets (above yesterdays skied out zone) and it was excellent. What i love about it, steep, deep and sustained pitch. Forking glorious. My legs are baked.
Very cinematic! No wind troubles? Was quite blustery at times up high
Look forward to more!
Back to la savoy for me tomorrow...
Came back from Titlis today, they had a bit of snow up high but below 1800m was raining, the valley is almost green. Föhn winds are coming back tonight and there is a chance they will bring Sahara sand with them
That was the only shot, interestingly up higher we were sheltered but as we got lower we got into the foehn coming over from the Italian side. Snow was blower up high, and then lower the foehn was just filling in the tracks. So nice.

In other news; found some decent local beer; on tap at 'cool cats' the hot dog joint on moulins. Great hotdogs and fries too! Live music and friendly staff too. Rate it.
Living vicariously. Don't think I'm gonna get back to the mountains this season. Have committed to other trips (non snow) in March but I'm starting to question my decisions. Mate in Sestriere says it's amazing right now
