No one could have ever predicted extreme heatwaves and more bushfires.

Perfectly natural and part of natural variation, the suns cooling so all will be well provided you have invested in gold bullion.

BC. declared its first state of emergency since 2003.

1,600 personnel deployed to combat fires in a very dry environment with electrical storms and gusting winds.

Some 14,000 people have been forced from their homes so far.

TBC and some of the family spent a few nights here http://www.epona-rise-retreats.com/ earlier this week, lots of smoke about and they had to abandon their Blue River to Jasper part of the road trip and head back to Edmonton via Highway 1.

Two glorious weeks on the road from Edmonton to Vancouver Island and back but the last leg got smoky and interesting.
