we are vising Thredbo in August and some of our friends want to try some horse riding while they are there.

Can anyone recommend any horse riding places that are near to Thredbo//Jindy that operate in the winter months?

We drove past there in late August last year and a group was out horseriding during a nice snowfall.

How'd you go here @gareth_oau i am curious if you managed to find a yard that offers it in winter. Can and will beat down doors but thought I'd try your reference first.

I've stayed at Jindabyne Equestrian Resort a couple of times. It operates in winter. It seems to be really popular with the locals for riding training/equestrian etc. it also has a really nice restaurant which again appears to be really popular with horse riding locals.

It's not as pretty as Pender Lea appears to be, but seems to be more of a "core" horse riding place, albeit open to all levels.

My now 6 year old loves visiting and seeing the horses.
