Interested to know what you have upgraded to, if that's the reason for selling.

I've got the Axls that I'll be using this season and I may even look into Vices also.

Would they take a size 27 boot? What are they like for general touring compared to resort tele? also would a garmont excursion drive them, in your opinion? Cheers

They are a size L binding, takes boot size 26.0+. I started using them with my old excursions and they seemed to ski fine. Obviously the excursions are best with 1/5 or 2/5 pivot setting, as I think 3/5 - 5/5 would be getting too active for the boots to provide enough power. To tour with them, you just adjust the pivot point by sliding the pin all the way forward to allow the least resistance. The heel throw can be flipped to allow even less resistance. Not specifically a tour setting, but that is how touring was achieved before I upgraded to the Axl. Hope this helps, cheers.

Hi Strider, thanks for the detailed answer. However, I am thinking I should probably stay with my Voile switchbacks for the type of skiing I do. My switchbacks are a few seasons old now and I was thinking of a backup for them if they ever fail. The hammerhead price was also kind of tempting!

No worries Weerab. The price is negotiable, just in case you change your mind.
