Love to catch up Sly, since we missed you last season at Silverstar by a day.
On second thoughts, having seen how trashed The Stig clan was, maybe not

Could somebody tell me if you use the Airport Shuttle up to Big White, will they drop you off at your accommodation or only to the Central Reception Office ? Booking our Condo with an Owners Direct not through the Big White Central Reception.

Agreed. And our accommodation had a front and back entrance and he knew which was the best access!

What are the name of the other airport shuttles, you can hire which let you drop into the supermarket in Kelowna ?

Discover Okanagan Tours is one that will. Was recommended to me but was booked out on the dates we wanted and that was four or five months ago!!!

Same. Take you to supermarket and bottle shop across the road.

They have a minimum fee though which is the price for four adults even if there's only two of you. But for my family of four it wasn't going to cost a whole lot more than the BW shuttle so it was worth it for that service. I think they stop for one hour.

Hey team. Booked tickets to Rockets vs the Moose Jaw Warriors for the 18 Jan in Kelowna last night. We have a car so will drive down but I think central reservations also run a bus. Looking forward to seeing a hockey game.

If you want real excitement sit in the very front row, on the glass near a goal end. Overall view isn't good but your up close and almost personal with players at times. Enjoy wherever you sit.

Nothing quite like someone hitting the glass in front of you when you are in the front row.

Our tickets are front row in the centre. Just next to the penalty box. I hope they put on a bit of a show.

    They will.

The white guy is the Kamloops Blazers' designated fighter. Each participant gets 5 minutes in the sin bin at the end of the fight. This bloke, in January, had apparently had 1 hour 45 minutes of penalty time in the season. Same league as Kelowna, although I think they have cleaned things up a bit recently. Slams into the glass are a dime a dozen.

I'm pretty keen to get along to some hockey while we're there. Do you need to book seats so far out from the game? I was thinking I would get them at the gate.

Contact guest services. They used to take a bus down to most games. I assume that they still offer this service.

Whats the latest that Lara's gondola closes. Surely not 5pm. Or does it open later as the season progresses.

Drove from Chilliwack though to Big White today. Beautiful day but really really cold. Car temp gauge hit minus 28 near the top of the Coq. Can't wait to hit the slopes in the morning.

Could well be even colder at BW this morning, summit elevation is 800 m higher than the top of the Coq.
