There is likely to be a show in Sydney (June 2) and one in July in Canberra. Stay tuned for details.

And in Melbourne we will be having a special showing of 'Hunt for White October', to be introduced by the film's star... more details soon.

    hi Ricardo
    Its in
    Herbert Wilson Theatre, Melbourne University

This is in the Doug McDonnell Building (blg 103), just behind the Sidney Myer Asia Centre. You can enter off Swanston Street or Grattan Street.
(there is a link to a map on the mountain journal page)

hi cam, hope to see you there....are all films family friendly? im presuming they all are. was thinking bringing mr 13 and mr 10. A few ****s and shits are ok. there was a bit of a raunchy section in one a few years ago, but that was just a dreamy hippy segment, so even thats ok

Sorry, I've been slack at checking BC forum lately, so missed this one. There was a bit of swearing, hope it was within the acceptable parametres....

haha Cam its fine. I made it but the boys decided to ditch me and hang out with their mates....... a bit sad, as i think they would have found it inspiring. i like how these movies now are a bit more about 'getting out there' than face shots and powder porn. Thanks for organising, good to see it raised money for FOE. Currently the FOE magazine and some of your articles are getting a good read in the dunny along with the AA (thats architecture australia, not Alcoholics anonymous) and the Big Issue.

oh thats good to know. There were a few kids there last night and there was the occassional F word being thrown around ...

And good to hear the mag is getting a read. I also like how its more focused on 'real' people getting out there, rather than just vertical skiing demigods shredding the 'gnar (although thats always entertaining!).

Ha Ha ha... That's so funny Mr that is exactly what happened to me. My lovely daughter ditched me, my son didn't want to go. I felt like it was going to be a lonesome affair and stayed home... Which I now regret.
