Can anyone offer advice on parking while staying at CP? We're booked with three other families to stay late July? Worth dropping the families at Perisher and driving back to Bullocks to save on skitube? Any tips would be appreciated.

As above, drop and drive. A bit of a PITA for the driver but saves a motza on skitube fares.

Nope, just book them on an oversnow ahead and allow minimum 1.5 hours to do the loop. Get them to take your luggage as well.

Buy an open return ticket for Skitube instead of 2 one way tickets.

You can come back to Sawpit Creek parking (behind the paystation) and hitch back up, sometimes you can be lucky and take some one down who is leaving and they will bring you back up. Of course when you come out you have to reverse the procedure. 3 families, depends on how old the kids are but if their over 14 then you are up for adult return tickets which used to be $80, don't know this year but you can look it up, then 4 people is $320 x 3 families $960 so what's your hourly rate and that buys a lot of grog

If holding national park annual pass p and owner of snow chains more worthwhile to skip the skitube and drive to Perisher Valley.

Except you cannot leave the car overnight at Perisher while going onto CP.

Or park at Thredbo and take the lift and ski over.. ;)
The advantage of this is the driver gets the opportunity to ski back to the car..

Some of the lodges at Smiggins have limited parking spots. If they are not used by guests you may be able to pick one up at about $20 per night.
