The Epic BBQ is in a fully sic death-stunt-in-the-park and back-country-hell-carve-pow-pow-freshies mood because it's expecting a hell good Epic season to start with a bang real soon now. If only it can stop tripping over its duds that are hanging around its ankles.

Happy?

Much scrarier pic this
very fertile atmosphere
models pfft
real time

Meanwhile the schizoids at the ACT BoM have readjusted their goggles again. Yesty they were forecasting a windy showery 12 for next wed - which strongly suggested a quick front whiopping through. Now they've decided that ain't gonna happen and they're back to 14 and mostly fine. Shortest lived front prediction ever. oops, but there i go talking about fronts again. Gotta remember to keep nice n quiet.

I'm not convinced about the models.
they are lacking the vibe
it doesn't seem logical

Only vibe I have here is that my boss won't have his current job by the end of the year!

No vibe on the snow front at the moment. Wake me in July

Great for snowmaking
too many bubbling jelly fish highs
need an elongated high to draw something from deep south
ie 11th june last year

hai.
Just likle that GFS moves it through at a million miles an hour
maps look logical too
They also seem to be elongating a high out in the Indian Ocean.
Me thinks a bubble will arrive...helped by a 1030+++ anchored sw of perth....ohh about
17th june
that looks viberiffic.

The models know there's something afoot in the "fertile" atmosphere, they're just a bit dyslexic and don't quite know how to say it at the moment.
They seem to be coalescing into some form of distinguishable utterances between the 9th and mid June though, I agree.

Left foot is itchy again, snow is coming. The charts are slowy working the highs and lows into position, I see action over the coming weeks, not blocking highs

I've got a powder for that
(preferably boot high and light enough to wind drift.)

It's a bit chilly today in Melbourne. Hasn't got much above 11, gloomy day. Feels like winter has finally arrived.

Seat heaters are starting to get used in the new car, first time I've had them, I am in love.

Looking at GFS for the weekend I wouldn't be surprised if we get a dusting at buller & baw baw. Tasmania is with a good shot.

Agree! On my way back to Gippsland today, I was driving through fog from about Warragul onwards. (a good 70km, at least) When I turned off near Trafalgar and drove up into the hills, visibility dropped to less than 50 metres!!!

I certainly don't remember having afternoon fog (that wasn't associated with drizzle) to this extent. Not down in the valleys, anyway.
