Looks like a bit of a dusting tuesday/wedesnday next week is possible, nice to see we havent used up any of our decent snowfalls yet (assuming we have a finite amount of them)!

The front tommorrow should give the ben 2- 3 cm of fresh hopefully.. There isn,t much moisture in this change but it should be cold enough as it turn s/w to drop a bit on the Ben.. It will give a taste of whats hopefully to come when the winter proper arrives

5%Steez, contact them and see, they are always looking for staff. PM me if you want some details.

The cam date (on the top of the image) has been out for a copule of years and we are trying to work out how to fix it, or to remove it all together. The date down the bottom on the actuall ski.com.au page is correct, so yes, the image is up to date, but the date for the image is out. (Is susspect it has something to do with the fact that the cam does not have constant power that doesn't allow the correct date to stay in sequence)

Should be cold enough with a bit of moisture from a southerly / South easterly for some snow on the ben overnight & again tommorrow if the weather blows in that far!

Well its 8 degrees and wet here in launnie but is it snowing that is the question? The only thing that makes me think otherwise is the high pressure and easterly feed

It might be snoting or sleeting Maximus but i reckon the easterly will make it wet & to much humidity. ! It will be wet & cold up there for the slope working bee doubt that it will snow on the weekend maybe a bit of sleet. ! Anyway im still going to go up and destroy my share of Kerosene bush !>!

Thats right dont let a bit of wet weather put you off, you never know with the Ben it might snow, it has snowed from the North east before but usually in July or August when the atmosphere is colder.. Anyway we will earn our happy hour beers at the creek in on saturday . I hope Colin has the fire cranked up !

I think there will be some light snow falls on the ben late this arvo and into the evening. Theres a sw front heading up the east coast which will produce some snow showers on Ben

Looks like anything that is up there at the moment will get washed away as there is alot of moisture heading our way.. Could leave a little new stuff behind but temps dont look too favourable for any snow i think..

Yea I agree Maximus, the not so cold front is on its way. I'll be very suprised if we get any prefrontal snow. We may get a dusting off the back of the front, not sure how much tho and obvously the ground will be wet so we'll see if it comes and if it sticks .

this always(i think). happens. snow in early June. then it melts, then snow again in mid July and the season opens.

This is common, June is very unreliable for snowfalls, its after the solstice that the real cold weather kicks in.
