Hey Sambo - otherwise you can just edit your own post so you can add people right away. Then whoever makes the first post on the new page just copies and pastes (but then they are the only ones who can edit that post)! ...clear as mud ;\)

ALSO - My house is now full for the season everybody, but Im still getting lots of enquiries.. I mentioned to some of the solo people that they should post on here and maybe between a few of you guys you will have more buying power and options when it comes to searching the Pique for a place, maybe get a 2,3 or 4 bdrm place and split it between you, but it means someone has to put in the work. Anyway just an idea, so it may pay to post on here and see if anybody else is keen to do that.

Good luck.

Hi Sno4WA. So you're going again? You lucky buggers. One of the mates at work proudly annouced he & his wife have just booked 10 days in W/BC, staying where we stayed (Pan Pacific Village). His dates are 5th Jan to 16th Jan. You might bump into them, cause its only a small place, right? (heheh). They're yours and my vintage and its his first OS trip. He is absolutely stoked with the pics Ive shown him. He's a boarder (I don't hold that against him), she's on ski's. Of course as we're not going until 2010, his annoucement hasn't really made my day.

Hey Wannabe - yep didn't get enough of WB this year so we are back for seconds! figured we would just scoot straight there and back for a quick coupla weeks this year and do a full month somewhere in 2010. I'm looking forward to seeing any new infrastructure for the Olympics and tackling all the bits we didn't get to

Yep how good will the peak to peak gondola be! Whistler in the morning, BC in the arvo to follow the sun. BTW perhaps we should mention (for the newbies) the WB book some of us ordered this year. Have you still got the order info?

ah yes - The Bible - the "Ski and Snowboard Guide to Whistler Blackcomb" - comes in Intermediate and Advanced versions. Invaluable for getting to know all the areas, the runs and what they are really like...and some places you might not get to otherwise. I can't remember the site I bought it off, although I saw it in plenty of places at Whistler. The 07/08 thread will have the details for the online book store. Mine looks a bit battered after spending the whole trip in my jacket pocket \:\/

thanks Triple - I knew the site was fish something but couldn't remember it

Steve - the Intermediate book has all green, blue and easier black runs. The Advanced book has all the black runs. Which book to get? depends on which runs you are going to do!

id say the advanced book is better, as it shows stuff that i wouldnt otherwise have known about. the intermediate book, you would probably stumble across most of the runs anyway over the course of a season.
but get both anyway
