Don't know if this has been done before

There seems to be a few of us around.

I reckon we have to have at least a Day Trip Splitboard Session

We can then check everyones gear, share tips and technique (ie show me how to do it) and finish the day off with a beverage somewhere.

I'm pretty flexible on dates, heading down pretty much every second weekend during the season

What do you think peeps??

Date: 27/28th of September
Location: Dead Horse Gap Car Park
Time: 7:30 am ish for 8am kick off
Day Trips/camp?? - register your interest in both

weather dependent of course

All others welcome of course (skiers, snowshoers ;\) )

Cheers

Caboose

Attendees

Caboose
Kaz
ians 158
telecrag
Belly
Suz
Pods?
Bluehue?

Looking at calendar I could be a real chance that weekend, probably try for 1 winter and 1 spring NSW trip.

We need some snow first.

Is this discrimination against your two-sticked downhill brothers?

I might be able to come. Working at Hotham so could be really hard to get away that weekend. But if we want to do anything at Hotham definitely in!! I'm also managing a lodge that's fairly cheap so could organise accom for anyone interested. We could do a day trip around Machinery Spur-great spot for all splitting abilities (even mine!)

i don't want to know anything about your date

i have 0 days on my split, so don't worry about being the gumby, that is usually my job

If anyone is looking for a board there is this on ebay
dead link(auction finished)
Has the Burton interface and is missing a couple of parts but probably could be converted to Voile/Sparks set up.

If I were a boarder, I'd be a splitter.
Who knows, I may drag my old tele-carcase along for a session.

26/27 only very tentative for me, many family commitments this year is making planning for snow difficult.

26/27 definitely better for me. Still at Hotham working until then. Melb Cup weekend would be even better than that if there was still enough snow. Have already had some great sessions on the splitboard this year. Anyone coming to Hotham let me know - always keen on a hike. Probably keener for day trip in NSW> Have just paid for my new binding from Sparkrandd also.
