Like last year, I'll be posting some info about the gear that's available at a reasonable pricce in Tokyo.

Just remember, this has nothing to do with online shopping. As requested, I'm just posting what I've seen, to be purchased by personal shoppers in Tokyo, if they happen to come here to Japan!!!
Prices are as marked unless stated. They are in a variety of shops, not just the extra cheap Kanda Cheap(London Sports) shop. To get the price in Australian Dollars, divide by about 100, or just drop the last two digits.

Carrera goggles

Look/Rossi wide brakes

Skis.
Top: K2 Work Stinx Teleskis 181cm, 41,860yen = $420
Bottom: K2 Anti Piste Teleskis 181cm, 34,860yen = $350 (30% off marked)

25% off maked prices. e.g. the Legend 8000 is around $520

Price underneath (this is a member's club price. I'll find out more about that!!)

About 25% off. e.g. the K2 PE is about $520

30% off marked. If two prices, the bottom one includes bindings.
e.g. Atomic Tripltes Urban with S912 bindings 37,800 x 0.7 = 26,460yen or about $270 AUD

Thanks Sandy!

What store are the boards in the last photos from? Or do most stores have 30% off sales?

That's the Kanda Cheap (London Sports) store. It's 30% off already discounted prices. For example, some of the gear is already 50% off or more. The 30% is off the the marked price.

No, not quite correct!!!!
59,800yen ski only, 65,800yen with S916 or S912. That's a difference of 6000yen. THEN take 30% off everything!!!!

e.g.
41,860yen ski only, 46,060yen with S916 or S912. That's a difference of 4200yen. ;\)

Uh, yeah, my maths sucks. Anyway, how about you delete the picture and your last post and I'll still sell the Motos for 60,000yen + shipping. Anyone?

I've also got a bridge I'm willing to sell ...

Back on topic, what's the current price for 916s alone? My brother's in Tokyo, might have to point him towards Kanda Cheap.

Sandy which is the best train station to get off at for those shops.
If coming from either Tokyo or Shinjuku stations.

From Shinjuku, catch the Shinjuku line Subway and get off at Ogawamachi subway station (in green on the map, exit B5. You will see "Kanda Cheap" across the road), or take the JR Chuo (Rapid, Orange), and get off at JR Ochanomizu station (Hijiribashi exit), and head south down Hongo Dori unitl you get to Yasakuni Dori. (the subway exit B5 will be visible near the corner)

From Tokyo, take the JR Chuo (Rapid, Orange), and get off at JR Ochanomizu station, as above.

Thats some awesome discounts. Just wondering if you've seen any cheap Burton pants anywhere. (I asked you in another thread, but you weren't in Tokyo at the time.)

Looking for any of the following:

Burton LTD Cargo Mens (Black)
Burton Cruizer Womens (True Black Gingham)
Burton Rodeo Womens (Purple)

Any info would be a massive help, as Its just over a month til we go to Japan, but I still haven't got any pants for my mum or my sister...

I've put those on my list, so I know which ones you're after.....
But to tell you the truth, there are SO many shops, I have a chance to go to maybe 8 or 10 when I'm there, and then I have to go somewhere else.

So for example, last sunday I was there, I bought some waterproof breathable pants & gloves for my daughter (about $80) and a strap lengthener for my Uvex goggles.
I looked for Jester & Duke bindings, skis & boards for other people, and by that stage I was out of time. I will probably have another look this weekend.

Not yet....

It's like a needle in a haystack. Skis & boards have names on the front, but usually with clothes, you have to look on the inside.
