That Cortina deal is off the charts. It's as if they're paying you to ski there. Pizza & Onsen FTW.

There are talks at the moment with Cortina to get a bus either two or three days per week from the Goryu/47 area for anyone staying there.. Probably 500yen. Would be good value with the voucher.

Speaking of coupons, if you go to the Ski Shop area of Tokyo, have a look in the bigger stores, and you will find a small area with brochures for lots of different snow resorts.

Amongst the stuff, you will find quite a few discount coupons for lifts.

These are the sorts of coupons you can get:

Top one is Otari. Left is Tsugaike, middle Norikura, right is Cortina. Tsugaike one is lift + 900yen for meal. Norikura is 500yen off (3000yen). Cortina is 500yen off (2800yen). It's numbered, so you'd need the original.

Bottom one is Goryu/47. Lift + 1000 yen for lunch.

Left is the Cortina deal (3500yen for lift, 1000yen for lunch, Onsen, rental) or just 2800yen for the lifts.

Right is Iwatake.
First is 4400yen for lift, 1000yen for lunch, etc.

Next is Adult/child, adult 2 kids, 2 adults 1 kid, 2 adults 2 kids.

I think the next is 4 adult lifts for one day. (it says "Value 4)

Next is lift plus rental.

Last is Ski school ski/snowboard.

Right is Tsugaike. Lifts + 900yen for lunch.

Left is a brochure from London Sports (the cheap shop)

There's lots inside. I will try to copy a few later, for other places not already covered, but there's a RAFT of coupons!!!!.

Shiga Kogen: Lift + 1000yen for lunch = 5300yen.
2nd column is "Tue/Wed/Thu plan" = Lift + 1000yen for lunch = 5000yen.
3rd column is senior (60yo)
4th column is child (12 & under I think)

Nozawa Onsen: Lift + 1000yen for lunch = 5100yen.

Myoko.

Akakan:
Lift & 800yen for lunch = 3800yen. 4 adultas = 14,000yen

Akakura Onsen:
Lift & 800yen for lunch = 3800yen
Family - 1 adult 1 child 5400, 2 adults 1 child 8700

Suginohara:
Lifts + lunch (1000yen) = 4500yen or Lifts + drink(300yen) = 3900yen . 3300yen price is 4 hours. Also seems to say that seniors are 55yo. Check at the ticket office as this has a lot of options/variations.

###### Also take a look at this coupon page:
http://myokokogen.net/ski-lift-passes-discount-coupon/

(includes Madarao & Tangram)

And Charmant:
Lifts + lunch = 4000yen

Less usually... mostly 12yo and under, but check, because there may be a "Junior high school" ticket as well.

Darn it, I am not going to Tokyo before we ski, hopping off the plane and straight on the Hakubus. Is there somewhere in Hakuba that we can get the coupons or discount booklets?
