Based on the forecast temps for the last few days of March, Perth looks like nudging lasts years average maximum which was 31.9.

Which was unfortunately the hottest average of all time since 1829!!!!!!!!!

Woke up to no ocean to look at today. Completely blocked out by the fog. And we are only 300 meters from the water!

well it turns out that this morning was the coldest Perth May morning in 100 years.

Does that mean we're at the end of global warming and we need to produce more (sorry MOAR) CO2 to prevent the next ice age?

Nah... just more extreme weather variations.
oooohhh...any chance that Perth Ice could turn into Perth SNOW?!!

Gonna be chilly again in the morning, and I have an early start watching rugby - always colder standing in the middle of a field.
Wheres my down jacket and apres boots!?

great day to be running around with a chainsaw cutting down trees for a green waste pickup ,probably should do a JHA,Take 5,JSA and a SWP,write out a chainsaw operating procedure and pre-start checklist, reread the manual handling procedure, working at heights, and working under a suspended load?? ,roll the sleeves down ,put on the double eye protection, ear protection, wear the appropiate gloves and safety gear ,by then it will be time for dinner and try again tommorrow.

Ha ha
Awesome day.

Jumper and a frozen butt from sitting on limestone retaining walls at Aquinas this morning.
Tank top, water bottle and a little touch of sunburn sitting beside the pool at UWA this afternoon.

As it should be, the brisk chill and yet a healthy dose of vitamin D. Hallelujah Australia.

Araluen would be magic on a day like today. Was down at E-shed at Freo with one of the little wombats. Saw the motor scooter club out in force. Must have been about 50 of them at least. Quite hilarious really.

Anyone else get hit hard with the storms this afternoon?

We had a heavy downpour but short lived and thankfully no leaks through the roof this time (not that it is fixed, it just didn't get drenched enough). But my friend was evacuated frm Mirrabooka Shopping Center. Apparently Coles had water pouring in through all the light fittings and seeping up through the floor - there were fears the roof was going to cave in.

Incredible change in such a short time period.

Nah dry all day for me, but watched the storms coming, and then vanishing all afternoon ... Until , of course, I was on the plane taxiing and it started passing down but by then I regarded myself as in Melbourne so it didnt rain at all in Perth as far as I am concerned!!

Copped it in Subi after abt 4pm. Dry as a bone at home though. So typical of Perth. Storms are often localised.

Not in Kansas anymore Toto!!
I think my 100 year old house is going to be blown from its foundations. Yikes!!

So much for all the Manchurian Pear leaves that we're picked up yesterday...
