Actually was it Northstar or somewhere that had them (trees) setup in the park?

The KT tree didn't have enought snow on it to do it. Did find one on the Ridge but we had some issues getting pics of it with a GoPro....
You're not an expert because you're too worried about stuffing up instead of trying to show off.

I can't remember ever being so disappointed in my life as I was at the end of our Tahoe trip. 1st of Feb until the 14th, the snow was rubbish throughout.
It was the last major ski trip for me for years as well, one last hurrah.

Every part of the trip was great... except the snow.

Hopefully you learned your lesson, and will only ever ski Japan in the future.

Yeh it was one of the worst years for Tahoe, it got MUCH better at the end of Feb, then March was back to average snowfall!

Hope you can get some ski days in somewhere soon though \:\)

Spring was kind to us at Snowbird. It gave us powder on 2 days & bluebird the rest from 30th to 7th. It's nice skiing next door in Alta too, tree skiing good and snow preservation a little better. Less crowded too , also there were a lot of seniors that travelled from all over US just to ski Alta because of softer snow & easy on legs.

Mineral basin favorite area, wide open bowls good till midday then frontside in the arvo was the go. Slushy down the bottom lifts on one day during week in first week of April was impressive.

The snowbird centre turned into a beer garden at lifts close. Locals would go downstairs ,grab 6 packs & enjoy the sun . Met some characters & I felt the etiquette between boarders & skiers was great. Big happy crowd.

Done Vegas ,good weather ,then San Fran last week , freezing by the bay, know at LA on last leg, nice day today.

Top of Gold Coast Express at Squaw. Drops off underneath Pallisades.
Put fingers in ears, say "tra la la la la la la" and everything will be okay.
