I'll be heading into Melbourne from Japan on Wed 4th Jan, leaving 11th Jan, and I was hoping to see a few people over drinks/dinner during that time.
I'm busy on Sun 8th and Mon 9th, but I hope I can fit it in some evening.

OK looks like it's executive decision time. I'm happy to put my hand up to make the reservation etc. Given it's the only night MX can come, and nobody else has vetoed it I'm proposing Tuesday the 10th at Soto - http://www.sotodiningroom.com.au/ 517 Malvern Road Toorak Victoria I reckon if the guest of honour is agreeable we should lock it in. I seem to remember last time he wanted anything but Japanese food, Soto is one of our locals and has a great menu, with a few asian options for those who are so inclined
